Gather your supplies: You will need a piece 5/8"
fold over elastic ribbon , Ruler, sharp scissors, and lighter.
Cut the ribbon: Measure and cut the ribbon to the desired length. (About 10 inches long, depending on the thickness and length of your hair to adjust the length), quickly run a lighter across the freshly cut edge to prevent any fraying.
Tie an overhand knot: bring your 2 ends together as shown above. image Make a loop while holding the ends together. image Loop the end around and pull through the small opening.
Adjust the knot: Make sure the new opening of your band is the size you want before pulling the knot tight.
